A global site catalogue
Launches on every continent, based on ParaglidingEarth — with wind aspects, elevation and detailed flying-site pages, from the Alps to the coast.
The flying forecast
Magic Skyweed is a free, map-first paragliding weather and flight-planning app. It scores thousands of flying sites worldwide against the hourly forecast — wind, gusts, direction, cloud base and rain — personalised to your wing and your limits.

One map. The forecast, the flying sites, the airspace and the live wind — cross-checked for you, every hour of the week ahead.
Site-aware flyability scores
A dune soarer on an EN-A and an XC pilot on a two-liner read the same sky differently. Magic Skyweed scores every site, every hour, against your gliders and your no-go limits — and always shows its working, so the score directs your attention without replacing your judgement.
Everything on one map
Launches on every continent, based on ParaglidingEarth — with wind aspects, elevation and detailed flying-site pages, from the Alps to the coast.
Hourly paragliding weather for the week ahead: wind at flying heights, gusts, cloud base, rain and visibility — inspectable behind every score.
CTRs, TMAs and restricted zones drawn where you fly, sourced from openAIP — context for planning, alongside your official briefing.
Live wind-station readings and live pilot traffic layers, so the forecast can be sanity-checked against what the air is doing right now.
Ask "where should I fly on Saturday?" — Goose knows the forecast, the sites and your wing, and answers with live cards, not just text.
Track flights, gear and stats with a free account — and set the personal limits that every flyability score is measured against.

Written for pilots who want to understand the forecast, not just consume a score.
Questions pilots ask
Magic Skyweed is a free, map-first paragliding weather and flight-planning web app. It combines hourly forecasts, a global catalogue of flying sites, airspace overlays and live wind observations, and scores each site's flyability for your specific wing and limits.
For every site and every forecast hour, Magic Skyweed checks wind speed and gusts against your wing's range, wind direction against the launch aspect, plus cloud base, precipitation and visibility. The result is a 0–100 score you can open up and inspect — the underlying forecast is always shown, never hidden.
Yes. The forecast map, flying-site pages and flyability scores are free to use. Creating a free account adds a pilot profile, your gliders and personal limits, a logbook and social features.
Magic Skyweed is global. The site catalogue is based on ParaglidingEarth and spans launches on every continent, and the forecast engine works anywhere on the map — search any place in the world and scan the sites around it.
No. Magic Skyweed is a planning aid. Forecast models simplify the atmosphere, and map airspace is informational. Always check official aeronautical information, NOTAMs and local site rules, and apply your own training and judgement at launch.
